An Inquiry into the performance of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and the Health Professions Act (The Cayton Report)

This is the report of an inquiry into the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and the workings of the Health Professions Act. It was commissioned by the Minister of Health. It was completed in December 2018 and published by the British Columbia government in spring of 2019. Since then the CDSBC has reformed its governance and refocussed its work on protection of the public. The provincial government has consulted widely and is planning significant changes to how health professional regulation works within British Columbia.
