Flat-pack patient

In this paper I explore the idea of putting patients at the centre of their own care. Using that analogy of flat-pack furniture I suggest that patients, particularly those with long term conditions, should be able to construct the the care that they want to receive working in partnership with their professional clinical advisors.

‘Harry Cayton wants to take patient-led healthcare much further. He has written about the patient entrepreneur who is able to take charge of their own health and shape what healthcare providers do.’
